Design Philosophy

 

I think design is the bridge between spiritual and material civilization, it expresses the human hopes and enhances the living environment. It is not just a thinking process, but also an idea; a plan till its implementation, and ultimately, to targeting to meet human needs.

 

Almost every designer believes that simple design is important, but most of the time we think that having simple design reduces the content of the design based on the deletion of the original design. However, I believe that simple design can do much more, They are able to allows greater user focus on the product itself & hence a simpler user experience.

 

The man that inspired me is Jonathan Ive, the current senior vice president of design in Apple inc. He is the pursuer of precision and perfection, knowing how to design the product and make it more perfect. He once said,”I get an incredible thrill and satisfaction from seeing somebody with Apple's tell-tale white earbuds. But I'm constantly haunted by thoughts of, is it good enough? Is there any way we could have made it better?”

 

Design has always been part of my life and I enjoy observing the beauty of its details. i believed that the details determine the style. In the project of rendering, i learn how to render a product manually and the control of the colours.

 

Aspiring Designer, 

Fashionista and photography enthusiast. Xiao Long'​ s interests does not stay with just photography but innovative products that reflects his immerse passion in design. Leading an active lifestyle, he spends much of his time rewarding himself with exercising after end of each day' s work, taking part in rock climbing and skating. As just challenges raise in everything we do, he accepts them with a spirit to overcome them.

 

A former Design & Technology student back in high school, his knowledge in manufacturing & drawing skills gives him a head start in product Design. His meticulous and patience personalities played a huge role towards design as reflected on this professional & perfectionism. He believes that it is the details that determine his design taste and decides his life.

 

Using his immerse energy in design, he intends to influence the market is what aspire him to be a designer.
